    World Vision Mongolia has opened 1 position for District Local Sponsorship Program Officer for Songinokhairkhan District Program based in Ulaanbaatar city.

    Purpose of the position: District Local Sponsorship Program Officer is responsible in the implementation of Local Sponsorship Program, especially on sponsor engagement, effective program activities and timely processing of correspondence and monitoring of child well-being outcomes for all registered children. Provides subject matter expertise for the integration of sponsorship requirements with the development process and life skills. Coordinates information management data quality, data entry, monitoring, tracking exception reports and follow-up reports.

    Key responsibilities:

    - Identify and implement innovative ideas or initiatives for Local Sponsorship products.

    - Coordinates overall process of child selection including timeframe, materials, documentation.

    - Coordinates Integrated Activity Plan to link sponsorship requirements with the project or other activities.

    - Supports the establishment of monitoring processes and system through CBW/CP committee including volunteer arrangements.

    - Coordination of design, development of communication materials, quality assurance and follow-up timely response.

    - Work closely with National Resource Development team and other colleagues to increase quality, impact and cost efficiency, especially on Local Sponsorship Program.

    - Network, build and manage relationships with individuals and groups who are potential and/or current sponsors.

    Report to District Program Manager.

    Essential Qualifications and experience:

    - Bachelor degree in Social science and development or other related fields;

    - Previous relevant experience including at least one year of working in and with communities;

    - Preference for good written and oral communication skills in English;

    Skills and competencies:

    - Creative and able to apply innovative thinking, partnership building

    - Strong facilitation skills, including catalyzing, connecting and building the capacity of community groups

    - Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills;
