    Purpose of the position: to support Grant Acquisition and Engagement Manager to achieve funding objective of grant portfolio and work highly collaborative cross-functional team environment across departments technical staff, orienting and positioning the team and other departments for coalitions and consortia engagements, will identify, pursue and negotiate financial, non-financial and risk-sharing partnerships with a range of partners in Mongolia to expand impact and reach.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and be responsible for the progress of implementing donor engagement plans for grants, donor communication strategies and facilitate proposal development process;
    • Liaise with technical teams to leverage their support in the grants development process and support technical staff to engage with technical (donor) networks;
    • Review and research possible proposals and recommend whether WVIM should pursue these opportunities within the parameters of the growth targets and strategy;
    • Ensure that Monitor potential donors, donor relationships and proposal contents adequately represent WV’s core values;
    • Initiate and maintain regular contact with other international non-governmental organizations and government officials in an effort to obtain experience and coordinate information regarding current and future works in the country;

    Essential Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:

    • University degree in a field related to Business, Project Management, Sociology, Development Studies or similar field:
    • Master or higher degree in other countries is preferred;
    • At least 3-5 years of research and project management experience with World Vision or comparable development organization;
    • Good team player and multitasking skills;
    • Strong communication and writing skills in English and Mongolian;
    • Experience of writing grants with proven success;
    • Extensive knowledge of grant proposal and other multilateral and bilateral institutions’ rules, regulations and policies;
    • Strong communication skills to maintain relationship and network with key donors and stakeholders that lead to successful grants and resources for short as well as long term;
    • Proven people management skill;
    • Commitment to Ethos, Core value and Mission statement of World Vision Mongolia;
