  • PROJECT COORDINATOR FOR BLUE SKY PROJECT IN THE LOCAL PROGRAM & GRANT UNIT

    The Project Coordinator fully coordinates the project implementation of the project that intends to transform and rehabilitate vulnerable children through art, specifically singing and their best interest of participation.

    And the position is to enable mutual transformation in the lives of vulnerable children and their families, to serve as a catalyst, and builder of the capacity of local partners and facilitate the emergence and strengthening of community-led initiatives to take ownership in the improvement and sustenance of the well-being of children and their families.

    “Art for Change”, Blue sky-2  project  is designed to most vulnerable children focused as beneficiary interact with others in the context of their homes, schools, peers and community environments to build internal and external assets  through Blue Sky choir member. 

    1) PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

    - Coordinate the implementation, and monitoring of the project at the project target areas with key stakeholders

    - Focus on strengthening School & Community and HH level child friendly environment and rehabilitation of MVC  through their participation of art course/ singing choir

    - Facilitate consultative planning, reflection, and feedback with project stakeholders.

    - Facilitate the project approaches cooperating with key stakeholders and project beneficiaries

    - Spent project budgets efficiently in consultation with key partners for management and donor approval and ensure funds are spent in alignment with budgets on time.

    - Ensure program expenditures, to ensure that they are within the project budget and under World Vision’s financial policies

    - Ensure program accountability and sustainability drivers throughout project implementation

    - Prepare the project documentation and reporting to ensure all required reports are submitted on time, accurate, and complete. This is including the provision of information for the monthly report, quarterly report, monitoring checklist, along with updated indicator tracking table and project documentation.

    2) PROJECT PLANNING, MONITORING AND REPORTING

    - Monitor performance of contractors and subcontractors

    - Lead effective monitoring at project target areas and collates & supply monitoring data to Manager and World Vision technical programs

    - High contribution to project reporting is developed to a high-quality standard and is engaging for donor audiences

    - Ensures monitoring information is used to improve project performance and made available for technical program reports

    - Supports, as required, to develop the project proposal & design

    3) NETWORKING AND COORDINATION

    - Identifies new partners within and outside the community and identifies how these partners can work together towards shared priorities for the project effectiveness

    - Builds and maintains effective working relationships with key stakeholders including local government officials, and department/units to enhance program team effectiveness.

    - Engages in advocacy and Communication staff

    - Ensures program priorities and approaches are aligned with community, partners &  World Vision standards

    - Coordinate donors & partners visit in the project fields

    4) GENERAL

      • - Contribute to the common goal and aspirations of the WVI Mongolia, be active member of the team
      • - Attends devotions and weekly chapel services and support spiritual development of his/her team.
      • - Ensures staff and partners understand WV safeguarding & anti-corruption policies
      • - Ensures project supports awareness raising for prevention and reporting of child protection incidents occurs across the project area
      • - Perform any other tasks assigned by Project Lead & Grant managers

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

      List education, knowledge & skills, licenses preferred, and all experiences required to perform this position in a fully competent manner.

      Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position:

      List academic requirements (if applicable), technical skills, or other knowledge required as a minimum qualification for this position.

      1. A Bachelor degree or Master’s degree in the field of Public relations and Social Sciences
      2. Relevant experience of project implementation is preferably
      3. List additional work experience required as a minimum qualification for this position.
      4. Excellent at facilitation and organizing skills
      5. Ability to communicate effectively, including reporting skills
      6. Excellent analytical skills
      7. Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
      8. Initiative, ability to manage own time
      9. Experience to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

      License, registration, or certification required to perform this position:

      1. Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
      2. Excellent written and verbal skills, with strong technical skills in writing, interviewing
