  • PROJECT COORDINATOR FOR “TIME IS UP FOR SEXUAL VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN IN MONGOLIA” PROJECT AT NATIONAL OFFICE

    Purpose of the position: To be responsible for the implementation of the project on “Time is Up for sexual violence against children in Mongolia” a non-sponsorship grant funded by the European Union (EU).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead implementation of the project within the allocated primary focus area within the stipulated time and ensure proper budget utilization and its spending in accordance with World Vision and EU policies, standards and procedures;
    • Coordinate the planning, implementation and monitoring of the project in partnership with local government units, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), community, inter-agency network and other stakeholders;
    • Ensure timely completion of project Visibility Plan in accordance with EU requirements, prepare all necessary data and information in required formats;
    • Manage and report on the budget according to accountability standards of the national office and donor (EU) guidelines, while ensuring the highest levels of financial stewardship and integrity;

    Essential Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:

    • A bachelor degree in a relevant field;
    • At least three years of previous relevant experience, including at least one year of development facilitation in and with communities;
    • Strong understanding of the local strategic and operational approach to child protection, procedures, protocols;
    • Able to undertake to work with complex cases on a single and multi-agencies basis;
    • Able to develop appropriate reports, proposal, correspondence and interesting stories;
    • Basic understanding of design monitoring and evaluation;
    • Good oral and written communication skills in English;
    • Willingness to be flexible with hours when necessary and able to travel often in the field;
